Yusuf Pathan and R.Ashwin is likely to get back into ODI Squad for South Africa

When Indian selectors sit to pick squad for three match ODI series against South Africa on Tueseday, they will have plenty of thinking to do since some of the star One Day International players will not able to take part in ODI series against South Africa.

Yuvraj Singh is yet to recover from the wrist injury and is already ruled out of the contention while off-spinner Harbhajan Singh already requested the selectors to give him break from the first two ODI’s because of his sister marriage.

Which means India will take on South Africa without some of their Key players. Yuvraj Singh who sustained the injury on Bangladesh tour is yet to recover from the injury and is likely to be replaced by hard-hitting batsman Yusuf Pathan who recently guided West Zone to a world record chase of 536 against South Zone in the Duleep Trophy final with a match-winning 210 runs that came off just 190 balls.

In place of Harbhajan Singh the off-spinner R.Ashwin is likely to get recall in the squad.

Likely Indian Squad for 1st and 2nd ODI’s: MS Dhoni (Captain/WK), Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, V.Kohli, S.Raina, R.Jadeja, Dinesh Karthik, Yusuf Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, S.Sreesanth, Amit Mishra, R.Ashwin, S.Tyagi.
