Twenty20 World Cup 2010 – India will look to continue their momentum

India may have won their first world twenty20 game quite easily against Afghanistan but it will be not an easy task for M.S.Dhoni and his men to get pass strong South African line up.

India have momentum with them after winning their first game, on the other hand South Africa who will start their Twenty20 world cup campaign will have to play better cricket if they would like to make it to the super 8’s today itself instead of waiting for the game against minnow Afghanistan.

Both teams has player who can change the complexion of the game in few overs, having said that boundaries at St. Lucia will be not easy to come by because of big boundaries. So running between the wickets will be key for both teams, whichever team will run better has good chance of emerge out as winner.

Because of early start, once again team winning the toss would love to have a bowl at Beausejour Stadium, St Lucia. The slowness nature of the wicket will keep the spinners interested, both team has quality spin attack.

Murali Vijay will be once again man to watch at the top order, in the game against Afghanistan he has showed that he was the perfect replacement for dashing opener Virendra Sehwag. Gautam Gambhir form is worry of concern for India but the players like him just need few balls in the middle of the bat to get into the form.

So far both teams has played three T20I, India manage to win two out of three. One of the interesting point to note is, both teams always given low scoring games in three matches with the highest score is 153 by Indians and lowest is 116 by South Africa.

Likely Playing XI for both Teams (Match is Schedule to begin at 19:00 PM India Time)
