One of the most consistent and favourite team of the tournament in IPL season3 receive a heavy defeat of 98 runs by the hands of Mumbai Indians in a high scoring clash. Chasing the target of 219 runs for victory Delhi Dardevils never got going and bowled out for 120 runs in the 17th over.

Rayudu (34 runs of 21 balls).
Gambhir’s decision to opt for fielding backfired as Tendulkar gave Mumbai a great start. He smashed 11 fours in his stay and never looked in any sort of trouble. At half way stage Mumbai raced to 110/2. Once Tendulkar got out the two youngsters Tiwary and Rayudu once again showed the maturity and talent they got by putting another crucial quick-fire 71 runs partnership of just 41 deliveries to put Mumbai Indians on right track to get beyond 200 run mark.
Delhi Daredevils were already handicapped by the loss of the Captain Gautam Gambhir to a hamstring pull early in the match so it was up to the middle order and Virendra Sehwag to anchor a big chase.
