Mumbai Indians v Chennai Super Kings IPL twenty20 2010 Final

The big final of IPL twenty20 2010 is finally arrived. Mumbai Indians will start the final as favorite to lift the title on the other hand Chennai Super Kings will fancy there chances with their graceful captain M.S.Dhoni in their rank.

The road to the final for Chennai Super Kings is not an easy as it was in the first season. Few weeks back they were relinquishing at the bottom of the table and were on verge of getting out of the IPL, however brilliant performance by their captain M.S.Dhoni help them to martch into the last four. In semi final they were looking down and out while batting but their bowlers D.Bollinger and R.Ashwin put then right back into the game with some outstanding bowling during first six overs of play and in the end they manage to beat the defending chapions Chargers quite comfortably by 38 runs.

On the other hand Mumbai Indians is the only team who looked quite consistent throughout the season and that’s why they were table topper in the league stage. In the semi finals also they have outplayed Royal Challnegers Bangalore in all departments of the game and martch into the final with 35 runs win.

Whoever lifts the IPL 2010 title, fans will be delighted by the fact that two great players of Indian cricket will play the final and any one of them will have chance to lift the IPL title.

Chennai Super Kings who had missed the IPL 2008 title, will look to set the record straight in 2010. This will be first occasion for Mumbai Indians to play the final of IPL. They surely don’t like to let go the chance after playing tremendous cricket right through this season.

Both teams have a decent bowling attack in terms of pace attack as well as in spin department. Mumbai has likes of Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, L.Malinga, D.Fernando and K.Pollard and Chennai has D.Bollinger, A.Morkel, R.Ashwin, M.Muralitharan and S.Jakati.

In batting department, Chennai has slight edge over Mumbai since they have more experienced player than Chennai. M.Hayden is so far not performed well in this tournament and is expected to play a key role in this big final.
