Indian Squad announced for the South Africa Series

Indian selectors have shown the door to W.Saha, Sudeep Tyagi and A.Mithun after the loss in the first test match by an inning and 6 runs in Nagpur.
W.Saha who got a chance but failed to impress the selectors with bat is axed from the team, while in-form Dinesh Karthik who hit back to back century in the Duleep Trophy final is bring back in the 15 member squad announced by selectors.
Suddep Tyagi and A.Mithus did not got a chance in the first game but Selectors have no other choice since they have to make place for S.Sreesanth and surprise inclusion S.Raina.
S.Sreesanth as expected is fit and is included in the squad. While S.Raina who never played a test match for India is also included in the squad to provide solidity to the middle order by bringing his ODI and T20 experience in the test matches.
V.V.S Laxman who missed the first game because of injury is also retained in the squad since he is now fully fit and guarantees to play the second and final Test match at historic Eden Garden, Kolkata from 14th to 18th of February 2010.
Yuvraj Singh and Rahul Dravid is yet to recover from injury and that is why they have not included in the squad.

South Africa Test squad: Graeme Smith (Captain), Hashim Amla, Johan Botha, Mark Boucher (WK), AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Paul Harris, Jacques Kallis, Ryan McLaren, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Alviro Petersen, Ashwell Prince, Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe.
South Africa ODI squad: Graeme Smith (Captain), Loots Bosman, Johan Botha, Mark Boucher (WK), AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Herschelle Gibbs, Jacques Kallis, Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Alviro Petersen, Dale Steyn, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Roelof van der Merwe.
