Indian Premier League 2010 Highest Run getter and Wicket takers

In the previous two season of IPL there was an award for the player taking most number of wickets in the tournament as well as for the player scoring most number of runs in the tournament, so for this season3 of IPL 2010 the award is no different.

With tournament already begun it will be interesting to see who gets their hand on these two most valuable awards.

The player who will take most number of wickets will be handed Purple Cap while player who will score most number of runs in the tournament will be awarded Orange Cap.

IPL 2008 Season award winner

S.Tanveer has been awarded the Purple Cap for taking the most number of wickets in the tournament. He has taken 22 wickets in 11 matches.

Shaun Marsh has been awarded Orange Cap for scoring most number of runs in the tournament. He has scored 616 runs in 11 matches with an Average of 56.00.

IPL 2009 Season award winner

R.P.Singh has been awarded the Purple Cap for taking the most number of wickets in the tournament. He has taken 23 wickets in 16 matches at an average of 18.13.

Mathew Hayden has been awarded Orange Cap for scoring most number of runs in the tournament. He has scored 572 runs in 12 matches with an Average of 52.00.
