India beat Sri Lanka by 6 wickets with help of superb inning from Indian Captain M.S.Dhoni (91 runs off 79 balls). Gautam Gambhir also played a helping hand with 97 runs off 122 balls.

Earlier Indians were struggling chasing 275 for victory with both Sehwag and Sachin back in the pavilion. But Dhoni and Gambhir made sure that they can’t let go the opportunity of winning this world Cup for second time. They did exactly what required.
