Champions League twenty20 2010 Fixtures

2010 Champions League twenty20 will be hosted by South Africa with the changed format in the tournament as compared to the last edition. However despite of changes in the format the numbers of games to be played remain same as it was in 2009. There will be total 23 number of games played in the tournament.
Last time there were four Group consisting of three teams in each Group, but this time there will be only two Groups A and B with each Group consisting of five teams in each group.
The 2010 IPL Champions Chennai Super Kings are placed in Group A alongwith Australia Victoria, Sri Lanak Wayamba, South African Warriors and New Zealand Central Districts.
The runners of IPL 2010 Mumbai Indians are in Group B alongwith South Australia, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Lions and Guyana.
The CL twenty20 will be inaugurated with the game against Mumbai Indians and Lions on September 10th 2010. Mumbai Indians who looked right on top in IPL season three to win the tournament would love to win CL twenty20 and this will be important game for them.
Each team will play with their corresponding teams in their Group and top two teams from each Group will qualify to play for the CL twenty20 Semi Finals. The winners of each semi final will then move on to play the final at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg on September 26th 2010.
