The Ashes England tour of Australia 2010/11 Fixtures
By admin on Feb 1, 2010 in Uncategorized
The current Ashes defending team England will tour Australia in later part of 2010 to defend the Ashes. They will play traditional designed five matches test series. The first match of the series will be played at Brisbane while the tour will end with the final test to be played at Sydney Cricket Ground.
England will start their Ashes defense with three tour games. First test match will be played in Brisbane from November 25-30, the second test match will be played in Adelaide from December 3-7 followed by another tour match before the third test which begins on December 16-20 in Perth. Melbourne’s Boxing Day Test is a fixture and the series will wrap up in Sydney, starting on January 3, 2011.
Last time, when England visited Australia for Ashes they have played only one warm-up games before the series and that resulted in 5-0 whitewash for them. However this time they don’t want to take any chance and that’s why they will play four first class games on this tour.
